Josie Uong Jathan is a litigator who enjoys working in a wide variety of practice areas. He frequently represents licensed professionals in malpractice as well as board actions. He also works for insurance carriers in bad faith claims and represents insureds in a variety of settings. Additionally, he works in a variety of venues from Tribal Court to administrative forums on behalf of his clients. Jathan has handled a number of different types of cases including professional malpractice, bad faith, automobile accidents, UM/UIM claims, premises liability, product defect, regulatory, and tribal matters. After growing up in St. Louis, Jathan moved to the Phoenix area and has lived here ever since. He attended Arizona State University for both his undergraduate degree and his Juris doctorate. Jathan has presented at conferences in the Western United States on topics including discovery and UM/UIM coverage issues. He was nominated as a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2015 – 2018.

- Drafted numerous successful motions for summary judgment on bad faith claims in District Court and Superior Court.
- Litigated numerous administrative hearings on behalf of State Agency before the Office of Administrative Hearings.
- Prevailed on a client’s breach of contract claim based upon the sale of a business.
