Amy L. Ebanks Jessica joined Broening Oberg Woods & Wilson in 2016 to continue her insurance defense practice. Jessica’s practice includes the areas of commercial general liability, medical and professional liability, dram shop, products liability, premises liability, automobile liability defense, insurance bad faith with a particular focus on workers’ compensation bad faith, and wrongful death and personal injury defense. Since beginning her practice, Jessica has defended over 30 arbitrations and helped bring three jury trials to defense verdicts. Jessica loves being in the courtroom and looks forward to continuing to successfully defend her clients at trial in the future. Before practicing law, Jessica moved to the Valley from the Detroit metropolitan area to attend Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University as a scholar recruit. There, she received dual B.A.s in English Literature and Political Science while completing her Honors thesis on the media’s impact on women’s body image. Jessica also worked in Arizona campaign politics before starting her insurance defense practice. Jessica also serves as the chair of the firm’s recruitment committee/hiring partner, chair of the firm’s marketing committee, and diversity manager. Jessica also oversees the firm’s associate mentorship program.
