London Burns is a seasoned attorney with over 11 years of experience spanning both litigation and transactional law. She began her legal career in civil litigation, spending six and a half years representing clients in a broad range of matters including creditor’s rights, employment defense, contract disputes, insurance defense, and insurance coverage analysis. Her early years in the courtroom honed her skills in strategic advocacy, negotiation, and complex legal problem-solving.

Driven by a desire to experience the collaborative side of the legal profession, she transitioned into transactional law, where she served as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel for tax-exempt financings, primarily for charter schools. This role deepened her knowledge of securities law, tax law, state regulatory frameworks, and nonprofit governance. She developed a strong proficiency in managing deals from structuring to closing, working with diverse stakeholders to ensure seamless and compliant transactions.
