Leanne Hay’s moot court team places first in Pacific Regionals
Law clerk Leanne Hay’s moot court team placed first in the pacific regional of the Jessup Moot Court Competition, which is widely considered the largest and most prestigious of the moot court competitions. She and her team from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law went undefeated, picking up awards for the second, fourth, and eighth best speaker in the competition, as well as fourth best written memorial. This is the second year in a row they have placed first in the region. They earned a spot at the highly competitive International Rounds, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the recent pandemic.
